Mackenzie is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Behavior at West Virginia University. She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychological Science and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Ball State University. ​

Broadly, her research focuses on how institutions and organizations reproduce inequality by upholding systems of power and how minoritized workers navigate these dynamics.
